Paris
Paris is a wonderful city to visit because of the rich history and delicate
architecture. The romance and charm of the city can not truly be experienced
unless time is taken to explore this wonderful city first hand. Many photo
opportunities lie in wait as you travel through all the great sites and
sounds of this charming city.
Of course, the Eiffel Tower is one of the most common attractions known
to the world. This, however, is only one of the beautiful places that must
be seen on vacation here. There is also Notre Dame Cathedral, Grand Arche
de la Defense, Père-Lachaise Cemetery, and Sainte Chapelle. The art
and culture of France is brought to life in the many museums and galleries
encasing art and artifacts, some the world has never seen. The Musée
Marmottan-Monet houses some of the finest art from artists such as Monet,
Degas, and Renoir.
When staying in the heart of Paris, many of the local hotels are within
walking distance to the main attractions and fine shops and restaurants.
For those who choose not to walk, the metro is available. There is also
transportation available in the way of bicycling, skating, car rentals,
busses, taxi, or a romantic boat ride on one of the beautiful waterways
through Paris.
Over two hundred years ago, the restaurants became Paris’s greatest
feature. The restaurants in Paris have been rated as the best in all of
Europe. Most of the fine dining is done in quaint restaurants offering
a sidewalk table for two or a candlelit booth for a romantic evening. Vegetarians
can also enjoy the food in Paris but be prepared for most meals to contain
meat as this is the custom here. There are also fine dining offering the
cuisine from Israel and other kosher delights. Whatever taste you have,
the Paris cuisine will suit.
