world’s most important financial, business and cultural hubs.
Tourists from all over the world love visiting this city. There are
four World Heritage sites in London – the Palace of Westminster, Westminster
Abbey and St. Margaret’s Church; the Tower of London; Greenwich; and the
Kew Gardens, and these are merely the tip of the iceberg as far as the
attractions of London are concerned.
Other famous historical and cultural spots well worth a visit when you
are in London include Buckingham Palace, St. Paul’s Cathedral, the Big
Ben. There are countless museums and art galleries to browse through, and
acres of parkland to wander about.
London’s green spaces are a treat for the eye, and many concerts, festivals
and sports events are held in these areas during summer weekends.
The city is a great place for walks – stroll around seeing the sights
or ramble along the river and in the parks. There are lots of things for
families to do together, too, such as visiting city farms or taking the
kids out for a great meal at a good restaurant. And there are other things
to do – you could take a helicopter ride over the city or go for bungee
jump, for a start. There are so many things to see during the day that
most visitors wish they had more time here. The nightlife is fascinating,
with a host of entertainment opportunities, great nightclubs and interesting
bars and pubs.
