The Alps

The Alps make for what would probably be one of the most enchanting holidays that one will have during their lifetime. This destination truly offers visitors the best of urban and rural living. One can enjoy vast expanses of unspoilt nature everywhere the eye looks yet enjoy the comforts of everyday life. Accessing the Alps is the easiest and the most thrilling by train. Eurailpass and Railpass offer the best train rides in all the five countries. You can sit back and enjoy a cup of coffee while taking in the breathtaking beauty outside the train window. For those who like to drive, using a car will also be enjoyable. The biggest benefit of driving will be that one gets to explore these majestic mountains without being stuck to a schedule. A Canadian or US license is valid everywhere except Switzerland where one’s license should be translated or one needs to possess an international license.

The Alps offer plenty to do for those who love adventure. As commonly known the winter provided for some of the most magnificent and challenging skiing slopes.
